From July 2001 to May 2002 Mr. Meindert Schaap (Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist from the Netherlands) has conducted an in-depth research into the sexual life-worlds of 25 street boys in Bangalore, India. Though not all the data have been fully analysed yet, some very interesting conclusions on risk and protective factors have already been drawn. |

Presently, we are in the process of translating the research results, plus all the literature on 'best practices' internationally, into a thorough and very practical sexual health intervention / AIDS prevention methodology, specifically aimed at teenage street children and slum children (in India). Several partners are involved in this project. |
